Our tow costs are covered from the charity’s sale proceeds, not from you. You’ll receive a confirmation with your tentative pickup window and what to have ready: Arkansas title, keys, and any access details for your parking area or gated community.
3. Choose a pickup window that fits Little Rock traffic
We coordinate a pickup day and time window based on your area and local routing. In central spots like Midtown, Hillcrest, and Downtown, trucks can often come within a few business days. Outlying areas—like Redfield, Haskell, or rural Pulaski and Saline County roads—may take a bit longer so we can group routes. We’ll give you a realistic window and update you if anything shifts.
4. Prepare the title, keys, and vehicle location
Before pickup, remove your personal items and Arkansas license plates if you prefer. Sign your AR title where directed. If you won’t be home, you can leave the signed title and keys in a safe, agreed-upon spot in or on the vehicle. Make sure the car is accessible to a tow truck—parked where a flatbed can reach it without blocking emergency access or violating HOA rules.
5. Local tow truck arrives and handles the rest
A local towing partner—often someone who already serves Little Rock Metro—arrives during your scheduled window. They’ll load the vehicle with a flatbed or hook-and-chain truck, collect the title and keys, and provide a basic receipt. You don’t pay anything on-site. After the vehicle sells, RideRescue mails you a tax receipt, typically for at least $500; larger deductions use IRS Form 1098-C.

Once your car is sold, you’ll receive a donation acknowledgment for your federal tax records. Proceeds support services for people who are blind or visually impaired through Heritage for the Blind, a 501(c)(3) charity. Tip: Older neighborhoods like Hillcrest, Stifft Station, and some Downtown blocks have narrow or steep streets. Let us know if you’re on a tight hill, busy one-way, or alley parking. We may ask you to park on a side street or accessible lot so a flatbed can safely load your vehicle without blocking traffic or emergency access.
Gated communities, apartments, and parking garages
Tip: In West Little Rock, North Little Rock, or Chenal-area complexes, access codes, gate hours, or parking-garage height limits can slow pickup. Provide gate codes, building details, and garage restrictions ahead of time. Make sure office or security staff know a tow truck is coming so the driver can enter, park, and load your car without being turned away.
Very rural or outlying Arkansas addresses
Tip: If you’re out toward East End, Hensley, Sardis, Keo, or on a rural county road, pickups may take longer while we coordinate a route with other nearby tows. Share landmarks, road conditions, and any tight bridges or low trees that might affect a flatbed. The more detail we have, the easier it is to schedule a smooth, one-trip pickup for you.
Missing title or name on the Arkansas title
Tip: If the Arkansas title is missing, damaged, or not in your name, it can delay or complicate pickup. Before scheduling, check that you have the title and that it matches the owner’s name. If not, contact the Arkansas Office of Motor Vehicle about replacement or ownership questions so we can guide you on whether we can still accept the donation.
If at-home pickup is tricky
If at-home pickup is tricky—maybe your car is in a tight Downtown Little Rock garage, a restricted airport lot, or a shop that can’t store it long—talk with us about options. Sometimes you can move the car to a nearby surface lot, friend’s driveway, or a wider street in Midtown, North Little Rock, or Sherwood where a flatbed can safely load it. If the vehicle is at a repair shop in West Little Rock, we can often coordinate directly with the shop. When donation truly isn’t workable, we can still point you toward local disposal, sale, or recycling options in the Little Rock area.
